About
Susan Haas, MD

Dr. Haas practices internal and lifestyle medicine with a focus on building long-term relationships with her patients. She brings particular expertise in preventative health, lifestyle medicine, and the management of chronic diseases like hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and prediabetes. It was this belief — that the best care starts with truly knowing her patients, their goals, and their history — that drew her to concierge medicine. To devote more time to each patient's care and individual needs, Dr. Haas intentionally limits the size of her practice. Appointments start on time and run longer than a traditional visit, leaving room for every question, because good medicine takes time.
Rooted in compassion, trust, and open communication, her approach ensures every patient feels heard, respected, and genuinely supported — a true partnership in care, not just a series of visits.

"Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a physician. The intricacy of human biology fascinated me, and I loved the idea of having a job that helps people with their health. I value getting to know patients and their families, developing relationships with them, and helping them over the arc of their lives."

— Dr. Haas

Outside of the office, Dr. Haas treasures time with her husband and two sons and can often be found cheering on her kids at their activities. She enjoys staying active through strength training, taking long walks with her Goldendoodle Teddy, trying new restaurants around New York, and unwinding at the end of the day with a great book. An adventurous traveler, she has explored destinations around the world, from trekking to see mountain gorillas in Rwanda to voyaging through the Galapagos Islands. However, she is always happiest barefoot on a little dock in Maine.

Dr. Haas also believes in giving back to her community and volunteers with Grassroots Grocery. She brings the same sense of curiosity, kindness, and dedication to her patients that she strives to bring to every aspect of her life, creating lasting relationships built on trust and exceptional care.
